Darren is a graduate of the Emory & Henry College Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He previously received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology from the University of California, Davis. His interests in physical therapy include manual therapy and orthopedics. 

Darren first became interested in a career in physical therapy after receiving physical therapy himself following a knee injury obtained while competing in high school track and field. After that experience, he acted as a volunteer in physical therapy clinics for the remainder of high school and college until he was able to apply for physical therapy school. 

Outside of the clinic, Darren is an avid fan of both football and ice hockey where he cheers on the Seattle Seahawks and San Jose Sharks. He is excited to explore the Gainesville area and be part of the community.
