David has a master's degree in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and has been

practicing outpatient orthopedics since 1996 in Gainesville and Ocala. He received his undergraduate

degree at the University of Delaware in Exercise Science and was a scholarship athlete in football. Much

of his post education has been focused on manual treatment, aquatics, functional capacity evaluations

and physical reconditioning evaluation and treatment.


Charlene received her bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 1989. She

has worked in a number of private outpatient clinics both in Florida and California. Her clinical interest is

in orthopedics. Charlene specializes in manual therapy techniques and has extensive experience

working with the foot and ankle.

Virginia (Ginger) McFadden is a licensed occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy.  Ginger

graduated in 1998 from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.  In

2004, she completed advanced training and received her qualification as a certified hand therapist.

Ginger is experienced in treating a wide range of diagnoses, including children with congenital

anomalies, patients with fractures, sprains, sports injuries, arthritis, patients requiring complex wound

care and orthotic devices.  Ginger is approaching 15 years in hand orthopedics and is a lifelong resident

of Gainesville.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Cebu Doctors' University in the

Philippines in 1999. During his clinical internship, he was exposed to different clinical settings such as

geriatric, pediatrics, acute and long term care, cardiac and sports rehabilitation. He relocated to Florida

in  March 2007 and joined Fit for Life last December 2007. His areas of interest are in orthopedics and

aquatics.

Katherine was born and raised in Orlando, Florida in a small town called Oviedo. She grew up with 3 sisters and eventually went to school for pre pharmacy and found that she wasn't meant to be in that field. In 2011 she found Physical Therapy to be her passion and looked forward to obtaining her PTA degree, which she received in 2013.  She has been licensed for 1 year and is excited where life is taking her. She says she grows and learns every day and feels blessed to be here at Fit For Life since starting in May 2014. Katherine treats mainly orthopedics including various joints and helps with aquatic therapy, which she loves the most. Her favorite part of PT is utilizing manual and neuromuscular techniques to help loosen, realign, and retrain muscles. 

Robert received his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in Miami at Florida International University in

2005. He began working in South Florida at an Orthopedics Hospital before moving to Gainesville in

2008. His areas of interests include orthopedics and  manual therapy. He has two children and therefore

enjoys working with kids and younger athletes.  Robert plans on pursuing additional manual therapy

certifications through NAIOMT.

Keith received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Cebu Doctors' University in the

Philippines in 2000. He relocated in Florida in March 2007 and joined the company in December 2007.

His clinical area of interest is in orthopedics.

John received his Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Paul University Iloilo in the Philippines

in 2000. His 5 year hospital experience exposed him to handle neurologic, orthopedic, cardiovascular &

geriatric conditions. He worked in a skilled nursing facility in New York, relocated in Florida and joined

Fit for Life in 2011 . His areas of interest is orthopedics and geriatrics.

Sarah received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelors of Health Science degrees from the

University of Florida. She is nationally credentialed through the American College of Sports Medicine for

additional study of exercise prescription. She conducted research pertaining to chronic pain and went

on to publish her own electronic book for patients with chronic pain and became published within a

Florida Physical Therapy Association newsletter based upon her interest in this area of physical therapy.

She volunteered or worked within a physical therapy clinic through high school and undergraduate

college based upon her early passion and began her commitment to the field early. As a physical

therapy student she was nationally recognized by the Doctor of Physical Therapy Visionary Foundation

for her excellence of achievement. Her areas of interest include orthopedics, chronic pain, sports

medicine (esp. gymnasts), and neurologic rehabilitation.

Kristi Kline graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Nova Southeastern University.  Kristi Obtained her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification in 2012. Graduated from the Ohio State University in 2006 with a BS in Psychology where she also pole-vaulted on the OSU Track & Field Team.  Training since she was a young child in the Junior Olympic Gymnastics Program she continues to challenge herself physically as an avid Cross-Fitter. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and working with patient’s in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Originally from Upstate New York, Cindy obtained her PTA degree in 2001 and has spent all of her years of practicing in outpatient orthopedic settings.  She relocated to Florida in 2003, where she began training and specializing in Manual Therapy.  Areas of interest include orthopedics, sports medicine and the treatment of cervicogenic headaches and migraines.  In her spare time, Cindy enjoys the outdoors, her flower gardens, trips to Sanibel Island, fishing, Yankee baseball and Gator football.

Cindy Miller, PTA

James received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2015

and a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2012.

James's interests include treating orthopedic injuries and balance deficits. His treatments

usually include the application of various manual therapy techniques and corrective exercises

to address the underlying cause of the patient's pain and movement dysfunction. His interests

outside of work include bass fishing, hiking, and sports.

Chris graduated from University of North Florida in 2009 with his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine and is a Certified Athletic Trainer. He continued his education to attain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from University of North Florida and has been practicing outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, acute care, and geriatrics. Much of his post education has focused in manual therapy, sports medicine, spinal assessment and treatment.

Angela Wilt graduated with her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2007. She received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a specialization in Fitness and Wellness from the University of Florida in 2001. She has spent the past nine years practicing in outpatient orthopedics in Denver, CO, focusing on manual therapy and occupational medicine. She is currently going through The Manual Therapy Institute’s credentialing program to become a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT).

I’m a husband and father of two relocated to Central Florida in 2007. Received my PTA degree from College of Central Florida in 2014 and have worked outpatient since. Work interests include orthopedics and balance rehabilitation. Out of work interests include reading, family - time, kayaking, racquetball, traveling, biking, and introducing my children to new experiences.
